The need for affordable
housing for low income families has prompted some private developers
to collaborate with public institutions, in order to provide solutions
for this cost-burdened segment of our society.
With an affordable housing project well under way and then defaulted
by its original contractor, we were contracted as Construction
Managers/Advisors for this development, in order to complete it
within its newly revised schedule and budget.
Entrusted with the responsibility of re-organizing the whole
development, from the financial to the contracting phases, the
186 single-unit housing project was successfully completed within
the time, quality standards and budget expectations in August,
2001. |
