Key Methods and Technology

At the heart of the facility management process is both a coherent and coordinating vision, and a technology infrastructure that enables the complex orchestrating work to take place.

While human beings have been developing their management skills for thousands of years, it has not been until recently that a powerful technology has emerged to amplify, integrate and extend the reach of that skill.

At DDD Facility Management, it is a computer-generated 3D model solution that allows our firm to offer our clients seamless integration of data, from the design and construction phases of a building to its life-long utilization. Emerging from the rich set of data that is created during the design and documentation phase, the building’s database remains useful even after the structure is constructed.

With this 3D database in hand, architects, interior designers and engineers, as well as contractors, marketing and sales personnel, building managers and owners, can add or extract information to and from it, for the management of the facility, for its renovation, and even for its demolition.

Offering more accurate data and more versatility than other programs, most of which use 2D blueprints as their point of departure, our facility management application can:

  • handle multiple projects, and several buildings in each project, simultaneously
  • manage all information related to costs, rents and inventory, and integrate it into your business systems
  • locate and visualize the area, volume, inventory, or any particular object in any given room or area of the facility, and down to the smallest of details
  • generate accurate and complete reports for inventory, rental contracts and invoices, among others

DDD Facility Management has the creative coordinating capabilities and the technology infrastructure you need to efficiently manage your office building, office complex or real estate portfolio.
